Materials you will need for Floral Minnie Ears:

Some materials you will need
Materials for Floral Minnie Ears:
- 2 small twig bird nests
- Silk flowers of your choice
- Ribbon of your choice- Choose wide ribbon for the best bow shape
- Black or White headband
- Measuring tape
- Glue gun and glue
- Pencil- choose one that you can see the markings on the headband (I chose a white crayon for the black headband)
- Wire cutters
- Scissors
The first step is to measure and glue the ears:
You want to measure the headband to ensure that you place the “ears” in the correct positions

Measure to the centre of the headband
Measure the the centre of the headband and then make a mark with your pencil. Make two more marks approx. 1.21 inch from the centre on each side. This will be how far apart your ears should be. Next you will glue the ears to the headband ensuring that the centre of the twig circles are the same length apart from the centre. Make sure you lay the ears flat while the glue dries!

Step 2 is to prepare your flowers:

Leave about an inch of stem on the flower!
Step 3 is to glue the flowers to the headband:
Make sure you glue enough flowers to make the headband look full! You can overlap the stems on the headband but make sure to trim the flower stems if they hang off of the headband. You will also need to glue some flowers to the twig ears to make them look perfect!

Step 4 is to finish the back of the headband:
Finish the back by adding flowers to cover up the glue and stems from the front!

Flatten the loop and ensure the seam is in the centre

Fold over the ribbon and glue

Fold back the top half

Fold back the under half and glue to hold in place

measure the ribbon for the centre of the bow

loop the ribbon for the centre

Glue the loop to the bow by starting at the bottom-loop from the back around to the front.
